Hi. I'm Vikki, an experienced qualified counsellor who has a passion for helping people improve their well-being.
I offer a warm, safe, caring and non judgmental space where together we can explore what’s going on for you. It may feel strange for you to think about sharing your inner (and sometimes private) worries with a counsellor, however, counselling is proven to really help. And I care. If something is on your mind, I am here to listen.
My counselling style is psychodynamic, relational with some mindfulness. It’s a talking therapy, focused on you and thinking about if past experiences are impacting your current state of mind.
Together we can help unravel your internal thoughts and anxieties to try to get a better understanding as to what is going on. I work with many areas including thoughts about traumas, self esteem, work, family, being (or becoming) a parent, relationships, anger, health, anxiety, depression, confusion, overwhelming (or lack of) emotions, feeling sad, feeling stuck and many more.
